Christ Chapel's 1,500 seat sanctuary was designed for a future 500 seat balcony. The balcony would be accessed from a walkway
cantilevered into a spacious 4,400 S.F. foyer (40'X 110'). The foyer is used for many large functions and as a fellowship hall for some occasions.To one side is a 150 seat chapel and
parlor that can be locked off and rented for weddings and receptions without access to the remaining church. Behind the platform is the choir rehearsal room with dressing areas and rest rooms.
On the second level is the drama platform with several arched openings. Also at this level is the Baptistry with dressing rooms. The Baptistry is cantilevered from the wall to mirror with the singers perch
on the opposite wall. |
